Denver's strategy tonight basically boils down to "We can get pressure with our front four and we aren't going to let you beat us deep, so you better make your decisions quick and try to squeeze it in on a short route" and it's working. Mahomes is always looking for the home run ball, but he runs out of time so quickly that he misses the opportunity to hit the hot routes. I also think he's getting exposed on sliding protection over because he doesn't know where the rush is going to come from.

Screens like the one he threw to Kelce seem to be the remedy. Will Reid adjust more than just his sweater-vest?

Your problem is that you are a very casual sports fan. Come back to us when you watch sports more than maybe once a month.

**And yes DoTB, I am totally fucking with you - you may well be the most committed sports fan on this site. I have mad respect but that doesn't validate it or mean that you aren't totally fucking deranged.**
I'm good with that. It's pretty obnoxious how much I watch and follow sports. I'm actually pretty upset that the only real sporting event to watch or follow tonight is MNF. I have to go into a bit of withdrawal until hockey and basketball start going again, and I'll have nightly action, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays (when you don't get any football at all).

Denver is averaging 8.5ypc on 14 carries, and yet, they've had Keenum drop back 23 times.

And there goes Lindsay for more...Keep fucking running the ball.

I watch a lot of sports on my desktop and during basketball season, its not uncommon for me to have two or three games on at once and football if there is a good pro or college game. Its not healthy. And yet I cannot help myself.

In other news, Keenum was a great pickup for the Broncos. He is miles better than the guys they've had since Manning was not maimed for like three games...

If Freeman and Lindsay weren't on the same team, they'd each be battling for the AFC rushing title this year. They're both awesome, and whoever scouted them for the Broncos and is responsible for drafting/signing them should be given a raise.

I knew this was coming. Denver had chance after chance after chance to put the Chiefs away tonight, and instead, they kept shooting themselves in the foot by throwing when they should have kept running, and here we are. Only Andy Reid can save us now.

I just put the audio back on and maybe I’m going crazy and things are running together but Witten sounds like he’s testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee

Witten just said, with 2:30 left, "It's good to get the screen game going."

This drive shows why Belichick prioritizes keeping mobile QBs in the pocket so much. Denver's rushers are beating KC's OL and Mahomes is just running away from them to buy time for his receivers.

He is incapable of the emotion required to testify before the SJC. C3PO has a wider range of emotions than Witten.
