This falcons team sure is something.

Quinn survive the season?
No one worth a damn is going to take that HC job if one bad season gets Quinn fired.

The Falcons’ talent level on D is pathetic. Not sure how much blame Quinn deserves for that — you’d think he’d have some say in personnel decisions, but the degree of HC input varies widely from team to team.

Everyone understands that the Falcons lost 4 defensive starters through week 2 of the season — and it hasn’t gotten any better. Right?

Jax deep pass to the 1, fight breaks out, Fournette ejected. So they’re 1st and goal from the 1. After 2 penalties and 2 sacks, Jax misses a FG. Next series, Buf scores a TD after 2 Jax personal fouls.

Beautiful

Lamar Jackson has been pretty good. We might have to change the meaning of Flacco'd if Joe loses his job after an injury.

Chris Carson came about an inch away from making the single greatest football play I’ve ever seen.

The Giants played most of today with the lead, and Saquon only had 13 carries (for 101 yards). They blow the game late. If Saquon didn't get hurt, that's absolutely unconscionable by the coaching staff.

Bortles got Bortled by his receiver, off his hands, picked by Buffalo, and now Buffalo is inside the 10, with a 7 point lead and under 4 minutes to go.

Josh Allen is the leading rusher in the game for both teams, with like 98 yards.

Holy shit, a complete trip by the Eagles defender on OBJ there on the last play. How is that not a penalty? I didn't think you could literally trip a ball carrier?

You can’t. It was as blatant a penalty as you’ll ever see. I believe it’s 10 yards and it would have given the Giants an untimed play from around the 50, and Eli has the arm strength for a Hail Mary there. I hate the Giants but they just got screwed on that play.

Arizona jumps out on top against San Diego. Wouldn't mind seeing San Diego take an unexpected loss somewhere coming home...

Forget Marrone, this has to be the official end of the road for Marvin Lewis, right? That guy has had a million lives, but getting beat at home by the Browns must be the final nail in the coffin.

Keeping Bortles in a year when decent quarterbacks were switching teams all over the place was insane. But yeah.
His $19mm salary for this year became guaranteed when he couldn’t pass a physical in March.

Marrone gets one more year to turn this around.

Denver slapped on the throw back helmet decals for today and it looks awesome. Wish more teams would do that.

NFL teams can’t have multiple helmets like college teams do. They have to keep one, properly fitted helmet per player per season. But between games the helmets are touched up with paint and replacement decals. Teams should put a throwback decal on more often. Seeing Pat Patriot on a silver helmet would be a fun look, at least once.
