You can argue whether any G is worth the 6th pick, especially when there are presumably ample opportunities to trade down, but Nelson is the consensus BAP there.Indy should take the G right? Have to protect Luck
exactly what they should have doneQuenton Nelson Colts
Eh I’d rather them take Hughes and Evans some how.Everyone has a fancy new QB except for us!
I agree he was the best player in college last year and the league has shown that shorter QBs who can move around a little are more than viable (I'm looking at you Russell) I think he'll be an excellent pro. Now I don't know about letting Chubb slide...Knowing very little about the draft; why is Mayfield such a surprise pick? I find the Manziel criticisms kind of lazy; because he’s a short QB that runs around a lot? Whatever character issues he might have, they seem to pale in comparison to Manziel’s; and Mayfield isn’t just a running QB; his passing numbers in college were phenomenal.
Really? I’m surprised they couldn’t do better than two mid-2nd rounders with multiple suitors. Unless fewer teams than expected are looking to trade up.Wow great haul for Tampa
Yup. Letting need trump BAP with a top-10 pick.McClinchey is a good pick but feels a bit early
Mike Mayock had him at #22 and ranked the #4 QB available. Having him go at #1 overall is unexpected. Cleveland potentially could have moved down 2X and still gotten the same 2 players they drafted.Knowing very little about the draft; why is Mayfield such a surprise pick? Yup. It seems really early, but he can learn behind Staley.McClinchey is a good pick but feels a bit early
I stand corrected — Cards only gave up a 3rd and 5th to move up from 15 to 10.Really? I’m surprised they couldn’t do better than two mid-2nd rounders with multiple suitors. Unless fewer teams than expected are looking to trade up.
No way is 31 and a future 60ish better than 15, mid third and a fifth. The 23rd might have, though.Pats probably could’ve had Rosen for #31 plus next year’s 2nd rounder.
Maybe not, considering the one-year delay. I probably underestimated the gap between 15 and 31 in my mental math.No way is 31 and a future 60ish better than 15, mid third and a fifth. The 23rd might have, though.
the guy might be a risk because of his injury history, but his demeanor reminds me of Aaron Rodgers. No surprise Aikman loves Rosen.
