gimme those three #1 seeds for the ACC
This would probably require Duke winning the acc tournament, and Bolden fucked up his MCL and is out till sweet 16
I hope all the northeastern alum are ready to dance!
Clemson clemsoning hard
Is Syracuse in win or lose, or do they need a W tonight?
A W tonight would seal it.
Cuse is in IMO unless some crazy bubble shit happens.
Zion's back tonight BTW
Yeah I tend to think so, but a win tonight and there will be no questions on Sunday.
Virginia was down at the half but easily trounced NC State in the second half.
I do think UVA has the same vulnerabilities as usual - NC State sped them up in the first half with some backcourt pressure and they turned the ball over and missed some shots. Had State not been 0-of-8 from three, UVA would have been down big at the half.
I think that could catch up to them again should they run into a team capable of getting hot from the floor.
UMBC vs Vermont rematch on a Saturday @ 11am for a berth so you gotta figure UVA will be wary of that!
You know the selection committee is salivating to set up that rematch.
Don't worry, Lehigh didn't make it this year!
I think UVA wins the natty this year. UNC loses in championship, then wins the next year. Villanova goes 2 of 3. Natural storyline is UVA loses to 16, then wins it all.
At the risk of understatement, Zion does not appear to be playing tentatively.
I bet he has been playing at full speed in practice for 3 or 4 days at this point. But yeah man he looks strong out there. I’m still nervous every time he jumps
I know. But the absence of a knee brace is reassuring.
Lol Zion got better in his time off
Oh my, Zion was certainly itching to get back to live basketball!
15 pts 5 rbs 4 steals 10 minutes into the game
7-7 shooting too
Myles Powell with 29 points in the first half for Seton Hall as they're up 53-28 on Georgetown
Uh oh, Cuse is right in it.
I'm not that impressed with Duke. Zion is obviously an incredible player. I'm not sure I've seen a player quite like him before. But otherwise? If you have 3 lottery picks, and two of the top 3 or 4 draft picks, shouldn't you dominate a Syracuse team that's missing it's best player and has only marginal talent to begin with? And Cam Reddish is supposed to be a big-time player? He's been a non-factor every game I've watched. I don't know, Duke just seems somehow less than the sum of its parts.
SU is painful to watch but they were in that game last night without their best player. Unlike Duke, Syracuse doesn’t have an endless reservoir of McDonalds All Americans upon which to draw when a key player gets hurt.
SU could get waxed in the first round of the NCAAs, or they could be that pain in the butt team that pulls off a few wins and makes it to the Elite Eight.
VCU goes down to URI, still likely garnering an at-large bid though.
Post-season Hoos on full display tonight. Down by 13 to FSU
Tony Bennett has that thousand yard stare going.
These replays are insane. Just play basketball.
Virginia is going to pray never to see the Spectrum Center again
Natural storyline is UVA follows up an unprecedented, historically bad performance by doing it 2 years in a row—taking embarrassing failure to a level previously unthinkable.
The worst part is this FSU loss doesn’t remove your 1 seed, so it can happen again.
UMBC plays tomorrow 11am
Yes, they’ll still be a #1, but probably slotted behind the ACC tourney champ (assuming it’s Duke/UNC, and it will be because those guys don’t lose big games to FSU), which will somehow make it work out for them to play UMBC again and we all know what will happen in that game. It will be like Chaminade plus the 1990 football collapse plus the 1991 fraternity house drug raids all rolled into one.
Cam Johnson looks so smooth. Wouldn't hate him off the bench for the Cs
This is high level hoops.
Multiple ejections in Hall-Marquette.
Give Zion the ball
Shitty final shot by White
Suck my fucking dick Roy. Call one of your two timeouts.
Roy knows what he's doing. Loss in the semis means it's a National Championship year.
He never calls timeout at end of game situations.
Oh believe me I know, but he did against Miami and got them a great shot that tied the game.
Nice game, Reddish.
What a game at MSG. Seton Hall came back from down double digits to take a 3 point lead.
Coby should’ve gone to the basket and took his chances.
What the hell kind of tech is that???
A fucking ridiculous one
The refs have totally taken over this game
Walton in rare form doing the Oregon/ASU game. Decent odds he says something that goes viral tonight.
Edit: holy shit he is doing "the sprinkler" dance. They are in Vegas...
That ref show was a complete joke.
If those refs had done a Georgetown-Syracuse game in the 80s, someone or someones would have ended up in jail.
