Ed Hillel said:"They're building something up in Buffalo" is said in the first ten picks of every NFL draft.
Dogman2 said:Wow. Gave up a 5 spots, 1st next year and a 4th next year. Better hope Watkins is no bust.

The rookie WR that really excels is a rare beast but maybe they feel they need to give more weapons to Manuel plus their front seven is already beastly.Deathofthebambino said:Wow, that's crazy. How do they pass up the hometown kid, Mack, who in addition to being awesome, would be the best play for them if they are looking to stop Tom Brady going forward.
I like Watkins, but it won't surprise me for one second if he looks a lot like another 1st rounder taken last year, DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins had the benefit of Andre Johnson on the other side last year and he didn't do shit. I just don't think there is a receiver worth taking with a top 5 pick, almost ever.
He improves by just enough every year to make St. Louis give him another chance. He's not a championship-caliber QB. He puts up a passable completion % because he never throws deep - his 6.44 Y/A was still awful even though the numbers you cite were the best in his career.ShaneTrot said:Bradford was pretty good last year, 14-4 TD to INT ratio, QB rating of 90.9. He plays in a tough division as well.
I did, but I'm still confused as to whether anyone could be serious about that.Reverend said:Did you read the whole thread?

No because now the Bills don't have a first next year when they go 6-10 again.Eck'sSneakyCheese said:Sucks for the Pats...

Deathofthebambino said:You have to try really hard to get fleeced by the Cleveland Browns organization, and Buffalo just managed to pull it off, with ease. I don't care how good Watkins ends up being, I hate that pick.

But for a few years all he had was Amendola, at least now there are no excuses plus isn't he expensive to trade or cut?Super Nomario said:He improves by just enough every year to make St. Louis give him another chance. And as for tough division, his injury happened at a time where he avoided both Seattle games. He was awful in his one game against San Fran, and put up a 6/0 TD/INT ratio against the two worst teams in the league (and had another 3 TD game against the hapless Falcons).

right, Manuel isn't getting Watkins the ball
Yep, I think that has to be the pick. Would be a great fit in Atlanta.RedOctober3829 said:Where does Atlanta go? Jake Matthews?

Dear God, no. They both suck.Red Averages said:Bring back Keyshawn over Lewis
