I've been impressed at how lively Beckett's stuff looks in tonight's Dodgers game.

Ryan Zimmerman's arm looks pretty bad right now. There's just no strength. I suspect Rendon will be the starting 3B in Washington before the season is over. Speaking of Rendon, I know he's been great lately, but walking him to get to Jayson Werth did not end well at all. Werth had the come-from-behind grand slam in the 8th to put the Nats up 10-7. There weren't a ton of people left at the end of the nearly four hour game, but it was pretty exciting for an April game in DC on a chilly weeknight.
Not much to fall back on in that bullpen either. Chamberlain (who just gave up a single to the only hitter he face). Al Alburquerque who walks guys at a rate of about 6 / 9 innings. and a whole bunch of junk.derekson said:I can't believe how bad Joe Nathan has been. Blew another save tonight, a 3 run save even.

It was the RF foul pole, but I think you knew that since you also referred to getting an opposite field hit as well. That was a really good game though, I was glad I watched it even though here in Florida I was stuck with the godawful Marlins broadcast. Yuck.

Bottom 8: Phillies get a walk, 3 singles, and a 3 run homer to lead 6-5.
Top 9: Braves go walk, FC where nobody is put out, walk, grand slam to go up 9-6.
5 homers, 12 runs in an inning and a half. Nice bullpens.
This is what I need to know and what I want to know: What’s the guy’s batting average, how many dingers has he hit and how many runs he batted in.
I want to know a pitcher’s ERA and his won-loss record. Maybe, if he’s Nolan Ryan, how many strikeouts he has had.
