Geekie at the intermission about how they needed to maintain that first period through the 2nd and 3rd. Promptly they come out and shit down their leg yet again

He's not fixing this team. Their issues will still be there and they'll be short assets as well.
I would definitely take another good defenseman assuming they can sign him long term. But they do need more physical players on the bottom 6 and bottom pairing D. They have nobody that can change momentum right now.

Maybe Hampus is getting a good look at what needs to be done in their own end. He’s been as guilty as anyone, of course.
Carlo & Lindholm to me have been the biggest problems. They’re two big guys making a lot of money that are very capable of doing the job and they’re just not.

When he comes back. I want to see more playing with some balls, and less shitty insurance commercials out of him.

Not offside.

Next goal will come from the eventual winner of this game. I smell another home run pass against a cocky Vegas forecheck.

Whoops. PK. Fuck. Big kill.

This is kinda sorta what a lot of people expected when the season started...Bruins are good, but not *that* good, because they play quite a few average/mediocre players a lot of minutes and its catching up to them lately.

I know he is currently out but he’s been “Meh” all year and I think he’s been nursing a nagging foot injury. I think CShea posted in the trade thread that If we get Hannefin ( and I can’t recall the price but perhaps it was Lohrei and Lysell or Merkolov, CShea please correct me) and sign Hannefin long term, would the short term upgrade from Lohrei to Hannefin get us through the season and allow for Hampus to heal his foot and come back for the playoffs? I also don’t know the salary cap issues this would involve, but it sounded intriguing when I saw CShea’s post

I mean this is factually incorrect. By almost every defensive metric, Lindholm has been their best defensive defenseman this year. They allow fewer shots, chances and goals against when he is on the ice. Carlo is like 3rd.

But I guess just hit people more.

I just want to stop blowing leads. It’s infuriating and I guess I’m not thinking straight.

Funny thing is, it’s their role players that have kept them afloat while their stars (glares in the direction of DeBrusk and Marchand) have been borderline invisible…or worse.

Just going by the stats, which D’s are getting caved in the most? Is it completely a bottom pairing problem?
