I'm watching on delay so I'm not reading the thread first but I just watched the first quarter and basically giggled all the way through it. This season is gonna be some Dream Team vs Angola kind of shit sometimes.

What happened to the minimalist whistle of the first 3 quarters? This is a blowout. Why are we dragging it out unnecessarily?
I am not at all worried about Hauser who was shooting well out of the gates. His defense is very good. Pritchard, on the other hand has looked rough all the way along.
not sure I've ever seen a game where we basically go for every offensive board and don't respect their DRB + Transition game at all.
100%. I came into the season more worried about a backup big than a strong third guard. But Pritchard hasn't been it.

He is trying too hard to make things happen. He needs to not turn it over and make wide open 3s. They don't need more.

The bench looks bad enough that we won't have many true blowouts.

I feel the opposite. At least Pritchard can drive and kick, do some other things. Hauser looks lost with the ball off the dribble and if he can't make wide open threes, I'm not seeing how he's going to score. His defense has been good though, so here's hoping he finds it.
Also, Hauser went through a really lengthy cold stretch last year after his hot start and it fucked the bench for a bit.
Pritchard looks like he's trying to force things. He doesn't need to shoot his 3s from half court.
I agree with your take - it feels like he is putting pressure on himself to validate the contract but who knows. Its early but bears watching.
He really is, couldn't complete a 5 foot pass to the post while towering over everyone. Then puts himself out of position on the defensive end against mediocre post movement.
We seem to have some bench players who you can only confidently play when we’re trailing big and conceding the loss.
The best thing you can say about this group is they are taking most of the 24 seconds before they throw up a brick.

19 with 5 minutes to go is not insurmountable. A couple more empty possessions and makes by the Wiz, and the sphincters will tighten.
As soon as Pritchard gets yanked things start to look better. He shoots way to much. Ball just stops with him.
