The scuttlebutt on Facebook was that the Panthers were indeed in town. No idea how they're getting out in this mess though.I wonder if Florida is in town and has to figure out how to get out of town?
Too much liability if anyone gets in accident on the way in or out. I bet the insurance companies make the call on stuff like this.We've turned into wimps.
Guess that's why our tickets finally sold, someone probably hoping to resell at a higher price for the makeup game. Bah. If it winds up being the last game of the year and fan appreciation like a few years back that'll suck.
They can't be held liable for a ticket owner's voluntary decision to drive in the snow. Still, the PR portion is the problem, in that they are "forcing" people to use their tickets and drive in the storm. This also has to do with the stadium vendors and workers having to get there as well. I get why they cancelled the game if safety getting there is an issue. Thankfully I had just transferred my tickets to a friend, so they are being sent back to me. So, at least I will get to use them.
