First game thread for me. Figured it was time to take my chance...

What are the chances this one gets canceled? Wasn't it least season where they had a Tampa Bay game pushed back into April?  I can't brave the weather tonight to be in attendance, but I was thinking of grabbing a cheap pair on stubhub just in case it turns into a make-up later.

Anyways, time to right the ship and go on a run to start the new year.

I went to the Calgary game two weeks ago and it snowed around 2-3 inches during my drive down. It took me over two hours from Salem, NH (normally 30 minutes) to get to Sullivan Square. Today, Cathy has our tickets and I'm expecting a call at some point to gauge my interest in taking them. After that driving nightmare two weeks ago? No thank you, not unless someone lets me borrow a large SUV. This storm is three times that storm from two weeks ago, and I want no part of driving down there.

I did the same thing for the aforementioned Lightning game and it worked to perfection.  Got two tickets off Ticket Exchange but I imagine StubHub has equally cheap prices.  The snow does not look good from my window view right now.

I think I am going to roll the dice and grab some front row balconies for this one.  I can't see the Bs letting people in at 6-7pm and letting them out when this storm is supposed to be at its worst...

I'm guessing they play. The Tampa postponement last year was more the exception than the rule. It's the only time I ever remember them postponing due to weather.

I hockey news, Hamilton and Soderberg have both been cleared to play.

I'd be shocked if it was postponed. My recollection is that they didn't cancel until 4 or so for the Tampa game and it was already announced well before that that the roads and T were going to close down.

I think they'll play. Chances are pretty good Cathy doesn't even try to go down. She just tried to give them to myself and my father. No thank you. Driving in the snow is fine. Driving in the snow with the rest of you Mass holes is not fine.

Looks like our tickets are available. If anyone wants to go tonight, PM me by 200pm. Loge 18, Row 4. They are $94 a piece.

Why don't you drive up here to NH and then drive down for the game? Not all of us can just hop on the T to go.

Svedberg in? That clinches it; whatever diety he pissed off will make sure the game will be canceled. I suppose a snow storm is at least a nicer reason than an emergency call up because a top d-man was lost for the year.

I can't even give the fucking tickets away. NO ONE wants them. At this point, Cathy said her husband will go if I can't find a taker.

I'd rather eat the $200 for the tickets, but I like living and stuff and hate everyone that drives in the snow at all times.

Nah, he's some BU kid who played like two games for PHX this year. He played like 69 games for the Preds in the last two seasons.

How bad is the snow in the bean? It's -40 F here lol.

Moderately bad. Roads a mess. It's 7 degrees in Boston -- where the heck are you that it's -40 F?

No idea, hence "I'm guessing."  But a quick google shows most of Korea above 32 F, whereas Montreal is -10 F.

You thought wrong. ;)

Alvays makes me nervous when a stream doesn't start on time. :(

Here's something I didn't know: -40C = -40F.

Thunder Bay?

I don't get that WB Mason commercial.  Is that little girl fucking WB Mason?  Is WB a paedophile?

OK period.  Sved looked decent, couple of rebounds to the area between the dots I didn't love, but generally did well.

Goddamn those guys who put Michael Bolton in their joke music video that has directly led to him being in every other commercial on my TV now.  It's like I work at Dunkin' Donuts again.
