It's funny. I used to get so worked up over games like this. Games where they'd blow a lead, or do some stupid shit. Or whatever. I used it care so much. I think I'm like Maalox - I just can't get my ire worked up like I used to. This game sucked, but if this was 2003, I'd probably be slitting my wrists right now. Now, I'll drink half a bottle of wine and go to bed around 1.

Start with his fucking self. Fucking bum can't get anyone out without incident this year. The guy has walked the tightrope all year - sooner or later he was going to fall off. He needed to shut Baltimore down like an ace closer should and he failed because he is incapable of retiring 3 batters in a row this year. |

Nice job with your new career lengthening mechanics Papelbon. I have little confidence in him when he comes into a game these days. But tonight it was like they all fell asleep during the rain delay and haven't woken up yet. They will be surprised when they read in the morning paper that they lost! -------------------- A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.

Ok, Paps sucked, no doubt, but this one was lost wayyyyyyyyy before he entered this game. This game was lost when the tarp came on the field. It was lost when Tito turned into a retard and forgot that giving up multiple hits and not getting outs is a sign to take a pitcher out. |

Tito going to Saito instead of Paps was stupid too. -------------------- "I was upset they took him out of the game. He's good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."-Pedroia on Daniel Cabrera

Embarassing. I haven't seen a little water cause somebody to melt this badly since Margaret Hamilton.
Only appropriate that Jay May made the final out of the game. |

For all the people shitting on Papelbon (by the way, Saito gets the loss), he got beat by a very good hitter. Masterson is the lead clown in the bullpen circus. I've never understood the ballwashing he gets from a large portion of SOSH.
