As Jose recalls from his ninth grade English class, pretty much all of literature, ergo all of human narrative, falls into one of four archetypes: romance, tragedy, comedy and satire. Jose is hard pressed to come up with anything that crosses into all four categories, save the romantic tragicomic farce of Manny Ramirez. --Jose Melendez

I loved the pics of him running with the flag and saluting the crowd last year during the walk off homer. If he doesn't go to the Yanks he'll be incredibly well received when he returns to Fenway.

Will he wear a Sox hat or Indians hat into the hall?

A melancholy feeling, but let's move forward.

"A firefighter is not about death. A firefighter is about life, and so we are very proud today that one of our brothers has given his life to save others," Yonkers Fire Department's chaplain, the Rev. Thomas McDonald, said during funeral services for Patrick Joyce, Jr. "No greater love than this any man has than to lay down his life or be willing to lay down his life for his friend or even for strangers."
