Last week, when I said we don’t have to worry about the Steelers re: the playoffs, what I meant was that we don’t have to worry about the Steelers.

No, Daryl Johnston, the public doesn't really care enough about Rivers to want him to finally make a Super Bowl.

Once again, Denver refuses to commit to the run. 8 carries, 47 yards (5.7ypc). 15 pass attempts.

It can't be said enough, they are #1 in the NFL in yards per carry, and near the bottom of the league in rush attempts. Give Lindsay the goddamned ball.

Seriously, I don’t know how the specials team coach is kept around after that.

The fake is literally the only play you can defend against there. You are not blocking that kick

Hold on, is Harbaugh complaining that the tackle caught the ball???

But fun little play and good on Villanueva. Real American dream kinda guy - born to Spanish parents (citizenship because his father serving in the Spanish military was stationed in the US) - West Point - Army Ranger - now pro football player.

Though it's beyond me how a 6'9" 300 lb human served as a special forces soldier. He probably needed his own helo to get into the action.

Take away 1 of 3 road losses, 2 of which were abominations, and the team and its fans don’t have these problems.

Lucy has the football. I’ll find something to do during the second half.

Philip Rivers has started the game 23-23...

has yet to throw an incompletion

He broke a record set by Mark Brunell for most consecutive completions to start a game

What an absolutely stunningly awesome catch by Keenan Allen. That was really impressive.
There have been a bunch of nice catches for San Diego today; the previous TD to Mike Williams was just as good.

How does Rivers not have a perfect rating?

They’re a scary team that’s been overlooked. Solid on both sides of the ball.

To make it more incredible he played WR his senior year at West Point at 290 lbs. After being the starting left tackle his junior year. The guy is an athlete

Romo: "Denver is gonna need a trick play to score I think."

Only Pittsburgh TD is on a fake FG.
