Golden State are playing a Grizzlies game right now (close, sloppy, physical and low scoring) in Memphis but Steph Curry just banked in a three. I mean, WTF?
How is it that Houston is the only team so far who couldn't bear down and run the Nets off the court? Even the Lakers made it look easy. Little early in the season to play down to a bottom three team and try to do just enough to win.Houston should not be mentioned in the same breath with the other WC teams. They are NOT a contender. What a pathetic showing tonight. Fuck them.
I have them at 30:1 to do just this.I think Golden State would realistically break the 72 win record. Granted I don't really think they should try, but they look a level better than every other good team in the league.
Well we are alike in that we both have round heads, short hair-cuts, stocky builds and scowl a lot (though tonight mine was the inverse of his). I wish I had his paycheck though.Poor Memphis ... they've got to be seeing Curry half-court prayers in their nightmares.
Prayers aside, it's kinda hard to compete with the Warriors when you make 23 field goals ... the entire game.
Barnes and Ezeli both looking improved this season, which I'm sure is thrilling news for the rest of the NBA.
(In other news: my wife thinks Dave Joerger is DeJesus Built My Hotrod.)
He will look even better doing that in Celtic Green.Boogie is no joke though. This is a four play sequence that just happened:
Boogie sinks elbow J
Boogie sinks a three
Boogie pump fakes a three and dribble drives for a layup
Boogie pump fakes a J and drives for a slam.
I disagree that they are bad at all much less of boy are they bad variety. The Kings are 3-3 with Cousins and competitive in all 3 losses. They were hammered each game without Cousins and are clearly two different teams with and without him. If he remains healthy this team is going to contend for a playoff spot. And boy are they bad. Run around on D, doing whatever on O, careless with the ball. Just a bizarre team.
To be fair, I was posting in a fit of "why aren't they destroying the Nets" anger. Cousins completely changed the game pretty much singlehandedly. Really opened things up for Sacto.I disagree that they are bad at all much less of boy are they bad variety. The Kings are 3-3 with Cousins and competitive in all 3 losses. Ah gotcha. To be fair, I was posting in a fit of "why aren't they destroying the Nets" anger. Cousins completely changed the game pretty much singlehandedly. Really opened things up for Sacto.
You forgot the part where the Nets somehow won the game. As an actual Hawks fan, I need to drink a couple of bottles of Nyquil after that one.Flipped on the Atlanta/Brooklyn game to root for my second favorite team(whoever is playing the Nets). The Barclays Center is empty. I can't imagine what it's going to look like in a couple of months. Or a couple of years.
His shot's coming around, and he's a lot stronger already than I think anybody expected him to be. He's aggressive on the offensive glass, can get his shot off against anybody, and is shockingly athletic for somebody his size. I have a lot of trouble coming up with comps for him when I watch him play, but Pau Gasol is a reasonably good one, though I think he's a better perimeter scorer already than Gasol ever was. Early on, the comp was Bargnani, but I think Porzingis has already shown himself to be a better post player and rebounder, thank god.Porzingis with 29-11 in a Knicks win. This rookie class kicks ass.
Pau Nowitzki Olajuwon? I see a combination of all three in his game with the latter something that he will really be able to improve upon once he adds lower body strength. If he can avoid the dreaded "7-1 and up foot injury" the Knicks have hit a home run here. His shot's coming around, and he's a lot stronger already than I think anybody expected him to be.
