Good deal for NY.  They really needed a pitcher- they probably still need another one.  But this was a no brainer to me.

Definitely good deal. I would still go all in on Tanaka and I would have a little bird tell Max Scherzer that if he doesn't sign an extension he'll get a massive offer next offseason.

If I were a Yankees fan, I'd be thinking what JA wrote and worrying that Kuroda's last several starts MIGHT be indicative.  He's not exactly young.  This will probably work out for the Yankees but as a Sox fan, this doesn't bother me at all.
