I'm sure this is here somewhere, but search keeps telling me it's too common. A syou know, I now live in Switzerland. What VPN is best if I'm mostly just interested looking to bypass region requirements for TV. I also apparently need one to pay my DC gas bill.

If I have a literal TV do I need something else?

I use StrongVPN and it works very well for streaming.

For websites it depends, sometimes it works well and you can pay items, but sometimes it doesn't. It's been hit and miss.

For a TV it depends on the OS of the TV if you can use a VPN or a DNS service. I would get a FireTV, which are very friendly and install a VPN on it for all your streaming needs.

Of note, the gl.inet routers listed there are like the size of a matchbook. I keep one with me when I travel. They're super cheap. Nothing fancy. Put it in back of your cable modem / dsl or whatever they have out there and it can be configured to protect all traffic out.

That is if you want to protect everything. If it's just for tv then there are probably better answers.

I used to use Strong VPN but I was having trouble reestablishing my account so I went with Express VPN. Works for the streamers I have. I think when we lived in Italy we have a router that linked to our strong VPN service that made it easier to use our Roku devices. I don’t know if I’ll be able to sort that out with Express VPN.
