The Patriots’ offense began the day on their own 17-yard line following an Oakland punt. The offense quickly went three and out, which we will examine in detail. When an offense is struggling, their failure to make steady progress with respect to down and distance leads to difficult situations and reduces the margin for error; converting third and long is all well and good, but it’s far better not to get into that situation in the first place.

There are a couple links to an Amendola article that don't lead anywhere.  I just went through the game again trying to see what Amendola was doing and had some comments but they'd be better suited to an Amendola thread.  Is there one coming?

There are so many coming. Next week is Amendola week on FC - we're going to have an article every day on DA#80.

(none of that is true. I believe Mark is writing an Amendola article though)

You're killing me JerBear.

You know, the next time you want to put that much effort into something, email it to us and we'll publish it. (after editing, of course, which catches stuff like missed stumbles ;-)

Great frickin post...and all of it is addressed with video breakdowns, tomorrow morning. Football Central, where your requests are heeded.

You and I both know Mark's will be way better than mine.  I don't have the depth to really tell what's going on or the tracker that lets me acquire coach's film for good breakdowns.  What I do have is an occasionally slow job that lets me slack off and look into this stuff sometimes.  I'm looking forward to seeing what Mark thought too.

EDIT: You should also edit his faster and post it tonight ;-).

What makes you think it's not done?

But yeah, this should be fun tomorrow.
