Pretty much chalk tonight, with only #5 Maryland not a top 4 seed.

7:10: Villanova v. Miami

7:37: Texas A&M v. Oklahoma

9:40: Kansas v. Maryland

9:55: Oregon v. Duke

Interested to see what Hield does tonight against a pretty athletic team.

The early games are probably a little more intriguing. Don't see Maryland staying close with KU, and Duke may hang tough for a while but should eventually get worn out.

Nova-Miami could be the game of the night.

Two top notch coaches.

Miami long and athletic, Nova tremendous ball movement and versatility.

And two fantastic college PG's in Rodriguez and Arcidiacono, both seniors.

I'm pretty sure Perry Ellis graduated high school in 1992.

This is Duke's worst nightmare at this point. An athletic pressing team and Plumlee in foul trouble immediately. Tread water and stay within 10 for the first half.

Ingram instant offense - reminds me of PP. Wish we had a shot at this kid in the draft although he needs to put on some serious weight

I feel really bad for Duke, it must be tough for Coach K to lead a roster with such little depth...If only they had a 7th healthy McDonald's All-American.

I'm not even a traditional Duke hater, but the amount ESPN has mentioned their "lack of depth" and portrayed them as Allen/Ingram and then some cobbled together roster, has made me hate this current team.

Go Ducks!

Duke's offense is Ingram going 1 on 5 every possession.

Maryland has gone ice gold for almost half of the second half. Nice run but barring a miracle, Kansas moves on...

Goodnight Blue Devils. See you and your next crop of AAU/McDonalds All Americans next year. And the year after that. And the following year...

Quick search shows that the o/u for Kansas/MD was 144 so that layup by Mason didn't make it go over. So close to a great moment in gambling history.

This coach, AD, President, etc. The players were dismissed, but only after the Ncaa loss last year, despite all parties being notified before the 2015 tourney

How funny would it be if Oregon won a national title in basketball before football*?

* ignoring the one the won 80 years or so ago.

Tonight was like the chalkiest day in the history of chalk. Not just in the tournament seeding sense, but in the big picture sense too. In the sense that it all seemed exactly about right. The four teams that lost all felt like four of the best 16 teams in the country, give or take a little, but none really felt like a top 8 team. The seeds, eye test, and results all kind of lined up today.

When we headed into the tourney, it was supposedly one of the weakest crop of one seeds we have ever seen. And yet it feels like we are headed toward and all one seed final four, and at the worst probably 1-1-2-2. Chalk indeed.

Thank you Dillon Brooks. Vitale probably does not make it out of his bathrobe today

I used to get all in a lather over Duke, but after watching that ESPN 30 for 30 on their lacrosse team and how that all played out, I can't hate on Duke anymore. When I think Duke, I think of those kids. In the big picture, it's only sports, college sports at that, sports is the toybox of life afterall.
