McHale did a great job holding that team together last year but man he was dealt a shitty hand this year between Harden and Lawson's off the court issues with the former putting forth very little effort in his own game while freezing out Howard in the process. Leadership needs to come from the players on the floor and Harden is failing miserably in this regard.

It was a bad sign during the Celtics game when during a dead ball moment McHale waived the team over to him and nobody went.
Howard and Harden are tough guys to coach at this point in their careers. Bringing in Lawson was also a huge mistake.

He looked like a dead man walking during that game. You'd think he doesn't need the money as this stage of his career. Why does he put himself through this?

Howard hasn't been the problem. Honestly McHale got so much out of him that I'm actually worried that he'll go on cruise control too as a result of this.

The lack of effort on the defensive end in that Celtics game was unacceptable. They were routinely beating down the fl
Danny says he has already offered McHale a job.
Even forgetting everything he did in a Celtics uniform, he gets a permanent position with the team simply for the KG deal.
