Why should he be the one in a relief role?  Four of his last five starts have been excellent.

I think it's fair to question why Wright was sent to the pen instead of somebody else on the staff.  Frankly, I think it decent arguments can be made either way.  I'm just happy he didn't go from the rotation to Pawtucket.  Next step I'd like to see is Wright given some higher leverage appearances than long relief.  It looks like the catchers can handle him just fine, which seemed to be the main concern with using him in relief.

Geez, I totally missed that.  Color me very surprised.  He's been very good lately as a starter.

So has Kelly.  And it's not unreasonable to think that Kelly has more upside.
