none of the C's in the system (other than Swihart & Vazquez in the high minors / majors) are considered anything more than marginal prospects.  I'd think Rei gets deference, playing time, etc as long as he performs.  He's not blocked at all in the minors.

It's a real shame Jon Denny opted for a career of being an asshole rather than a professional baseball player.
