Montreal coach did her team no favors running her top lines out for insane minutes. Boston coach kept her lines (still a bit out of whack) more balanced.

Seemingly straightforward solution: @ThePHWA assigns a pool reporter to speak to officials postgame. No reason the NHL can't follow other leagues and allow it.
Is this constant BS good for the game? Good for ratings? Who benefits?
Or does it just make the NHL look sloppy?

Game 3 Tuesday at 7. Just saying.

Boston were pretty badly outplayed for the first 40 to 50 minutes, but after that point, some combination of raising their level and Montreal tiring led to play flipping the other way around. Boston finally starting getting behind Montreal with speed and driving play. They can thank Frankel for keeping the game within reach, she was outstanding (though not ultimately one of the three stars).

Great story from The Athletic via The New York Times on how Minnesota got to the Finals.

My daughter is the team doc for Minnesota so, despite my Boston roots, I'm pulling for them!
I absolutely love Kendall Coyne-Schofield as a player and ambassador to the game, easily my favorite player in Women's hockey. My daughter has always looked up to her as well. So my allegiances are a bit torn in this championship series as well.

Minnesota player lit up Boston player. No penalty.

Boston player lit up Minnesota player. Penalty.

I’m gonna have to learn how this game is called. I’m confused.

They weren’t calling a trip on the defender, so that’s goalie interference. Only problem is the refs might want to go home.

great game so far. wish there was some way to get the extra behind net space in the nhl but they'd never remove a couple rows so sadly...
