Hunter is ok. Reddish is not yet and may never be. However I have learned not to give up on players based on 40-odd games.

In other news, Woj was on the Russilo pod today about the trade deadline and really had nothing specific. He did say that Boston wouldn't be inclined to move any of their core including Hayward (sorry Steven Adams and Drummond fans) or Smarf. Interestingly enough, he though most big names would move after the season when teams and players were incentivized to work together to put together sign and trade deals.

Philly as the 6th seed is the worst outcome for the Celtics in all scenarios, except if the Celtics end up as the 4th seed.

It's pretty early to start handicapping the EC seeds (w/potential injuries & trades).

BUT after looking at schedules, the # games against .500 or better teams going forward:
Phila 13 games
Bos 17 games
Mia 13 games
Indy 15 games
Tor 16 games

5 of Philly’s 13 are between now and 2/22, including 2 against the Bucks. Then, they have a West Coast trip the first week of March (including both LA teams), followed by an almost comically soft schedule the last five weeks of the season.

Phila had a similar situation 2 seasons ago. They will pretty much play tankers after the All-Star break
