I might need @BaseballJones to fill this one out, as I'm not sure what I can say, but I'm committed to the idea that even in losses, there are silver linings, so I'll start.
  • Christian Gonzalez. Two excellent games in a row going against the elite of the NFL.
  • Brendan Schooler. It's a copycat league, so let's see how often this becomes a thing in the future.
My silver linings:

- Mac against pressure did very well. And he was under pressure a lot.

- Gonzalez. Other than the bad angle on the long Mostert run, he was awesome out there. Looks like, right away, a true #1 corner. More than held his own against an elite pass offense and elite WRs.

- Rookie kickers and special teams in general. Seems like a small deal, but they both did great. This punter is unreal. Last year the special teams were mostly a disaster, so it's nice to see special teams be really good again.

- Defense as a whole. To only give up 24 points - 7 in the second half - to this team is really good. Kept them in the game. Gave the offense a chance. They've now put together two solid performances against two elite offenses, which is something we didn't really see the last few years. They always did great against bad offenses but not against elite offenses.
