According to TangoTiger.com, Dr. Alan Nathan (who sometimes posts to SoSH) has joined Diamond Kinetics as a technical advisor. Diamond Kinetics is studying swing tracking  At Diamond Kinetics we agree that there is not a single perfect swing, however for the first time hitters and coaches now have powerful data and visual evidence at their fingertips to identify opportunities for technique improvement.

If you scroll down on this page <http://diamondkinetics.com/explore/science-of-the-swing/>, there are links explaining each of the sub-categories. There is a free app for Apple-related products and one in development for Android ones. Plus, there is also a Swing Tracker package available that includes a sensor for a bat and other tools for a cost.

I think some of you will find it worth while exploring the site.
