I don't know which thread had a debate about whether they should have called fumble on the field on the Brady sneak, but the Sound-fx package has a definitive angle. Looks like the stadium had a replay that CBS didn't show that made it pretty obvious pretty fast.
That was the game thread. There was a definitive angle. I laughed after hearing the two steelers look up and go "oh he was down" and move on.
A neighbor / Facebook friend of mine posted this today (he works for Lenovo). We live in North Carolina, this guy is a diehard Chicago sports fan who hates the Pats. Thought it was interesting.

Link to the NFL films Turning Point is in here... my favorite so far is Edelman doing the Offensive pre game huddle... and Brady behind him butting the back of his helmet like he's trying to get his attention 2 or 3 times (around the 140 mark or so)... then Edelman finally finishes and Brady follows after to head butt him once again.
Like a puppy dog trying to force it's way into the bigger group... lol
So "I'm here" is something Pittsburgh says a lot, huh? That's a stupid rallying cry if you ask me. Being present is kind of the minimum criteria for playing a football game.
I love Hogan's Dolphins nickname - "7/11" because he's always open.
Going back to the Tom E. Curran article linked on the previous page this seems like it should be bad for the Steelers.

My favorite part of the video (3:15) is Edelman's response to Burns, the rookie DB, after Burns says it:
Burns - "I'M HERE MAN, I'M HERE!"
Edelman - "The fact that you gotta talk about it means you're not."
Of all the very many improbable things that have come out of this run, the semiregular presence of multiple Brazilian supermodels in Foxborough might be the most improbable.
At 18:08 Edelman was hugging his GF. She must have said I love you because someone maybe Blount walks up behind him hugs him and says "I Love Him Too".
What's the Side Judge doing patting down a couple Steelers, incl Big Ben, as they walked out of the locker room? It seemed fairly perfunctory. But I'd never heard about any such thing.
My favorite part about watching that first Hogan TD is watching White's block on Timmons. I just noticed in this viewing that White doesn't just slow Timmons down, he puts Timmons on the ground. Very impressive.
Later in the game, White lines up in the slot and puts a beautiful chip block on Dupree and knocks him completely off balance so that Cannon can stuff him.
Maybe I missed it live, but didn't realize the Steelers were going to go for 2 had the touchdown near the end of the 1st half not been overturned.
if Atlanta actually plays a zone and they'll 'do what they do" like a Pitt defense, the breakdowns here make me very confident. The level that Brady and the Pats are running plays against trends and specific defenses is amazing. I can't believe that Atlanta is dumb enough to try to run poor man's Seahawks offense and try to get away with it without the players. based upon the other threads where they seem to mix some man in it looks like they may not be carved up.

In one shot, Bill has his back turned to the field, talking to the defense and explaining how they were going to execute and stop the Steelers, completely confident that his offense was out there doing exactly what they were expected to do.
A few minutes later, Tomlin turns to his defense, says something along the lines of, "Hey guys we need a stop" and is right back to looking to toward the field.

I can confirm this. I was drunk and in the last row of the 300 level and it was plain as day that Brady was down.
Yes, the reason I mentioned it above is because not only does #25 say it to Edelman in that clip, but the Steelers were also chanting it as they walked out of the tunnel before the game.

Is it rare any more that a head coach gives a pep talk during a game with any actual content to it? The one by Bill during the Baltimore divisional game two years ago and again during the super bowl that year come to mind. Can't remember any others by other head coaches right now.

There probably are other coaches who do it. Relying on anecdotal evidence to suggest that only Belichick does so (or that Tomlin doesn't) is flimsy at best
I'll be looking for others from now on, but it will take a while to get in enough game-hours to be significant (and years). Not every other coach is like Jim Caldwell, but I think head coaches are mostly sideline patrollers nowadays, while assistant coaches do whatever in game coaching that goes on.
Adriana Lima says "My Lover" when she's hugging Jules. I haven't watched this Turning Point clip yet, but saw that on the Inside the NFL show the other night.
When you lose it is not often your inspirational speech gets air time. For all we know Maxime Weygand may have had a speech that was better than "their finest hour".
