He’s been hit 21 times in 670 PA’s which kinda seems like a lot.I wonder how many times the Houck-Beatty thing has been done previously
Well it's comforting to know that we've got guys like The Blizzard of Balls coming up to fill the void when elimination day comes. At least half this board is old like you
I wonder how many times the Houck-Beatty thing has been done previously
View: https://twitter.com/gfstarr1/status/1698144521299661264?s=46According to @Stathead, Beaty is only the fifth player in MLB history to have at least 3 HBP against the Red Sox.
Brandon Guyer, Rays (4/21/16)
Damion Easley, Tigers (7/16/02, 5/31/99)
Bill Freehan, Tigers (8/16/68)
Sherm Lolar, White Sox (6/8/56)
He's so vain, he probably thinks the HBP were about him.I wonder how many times the Houck-Beatty thing has been done previously
I believe it.Houck now has an ERA over 5 for the season
NiiiiiiicccceeeeeHe's so vain, he probably thinks the HBP were about him.
Everybody!!! Look what's going on.The fact that the same guy was hit 3 times by the same team not once (quirky) but twice (not so quirky), ignites the suspicious and wondering mind. I mean, there's something happenin' there, even if what it is ain't entirely clear.
Shouldn't that be "needed"? Isn't it too late for other teams' losses to matter, esp. given the Sox schedule going forward?Lots of teams the Sox need to lose tonight are doing so.
