The evil Jack Brannigan hit a sac fly to put his team up by 1. Time for the bottom of the 10th.

Teel is going to be a very fast prospect rankings climber. First rounder who can hit and genuinely stay at catcher is practically a prospect unicorn.

You can see the Kendall comp. He’s really quick to the ball and isn’t selling out for power.

Xitter's an unusable hellsite on mobile without an account, anything interesting in this thread?
Q: Cutter Coffey?

A: His defense is ahead of his offense at this point, but I like the direction his bat is trending. He got an aggressive assignment to start the year and by the end made some nice adjustments. Improving his quality of contact will be key in the next stage of his development.

JM3: Cutter is constantly making errors. So yikes.

Q: Are there any trends you have noticed with Sox pitching development (particular competencies such as new pitches/control etc)?

A: One that stands out is most pitchers now either throw sinkers or if they are four seam guys, have to be able to pitch up in the zone with it.

Q: Is Yorke someone you see them actually holding onto, or prime trade candidate? (Is there enough value there for other teams?)

A: Yorke definitely has value whether it’s with the Red Sox or another team. When factoring in his age he’s definitely performed well against much older competition. There’s still things to work on, but there’s also a lot to like still.

Q: Which prospects would you be willing to deal this off-season and what type of player could they realistically net? The team really needs a dependable starter

A: I said it on the
@SoxProspects podcast recently, but I’d much rather spend on pitching in free agency than have to trade prospects for a pitcher. There’s a good crop of free agent pitchers this offseason and all it costs is money to get them.

JM3: That's what I've been saying!

Blah I don't feel like doing all of them lol.

He thinks we might lose a rh reliever to Rule 5 like Fernandez, Zeferjahn or Bastardo.

Thinks we've had good pitching at lower levels.

& unlikely Abreu starts next year in the majors.

Lots more questions he said he would answer tomorrow.
