Sea Dogs tried to get a 2nd inning out of Jacob Webb because I guess they wanted a bigger challenge. He's allowed 3 runs & they're losing 5-4 in the 9th.

In the 9th Webb went:

Walk
Double
Sac Fly
Intentional Walk (seems silly)
Steal
Single
Double
Out of the game

Marcelo Mayer was 1-3 with a double & an HBP.

Chase Meidroth was 2-4 with a steal.

Corey Rosier was 1-3 with a triple & an HBP.

Not a great game for the rehabbers - Reyes was 0-4 with a walk & a steal. Story was 0-4 with 4 strikeouts.

Kind of surprised Greenville tried to get a 7th inning out of Encarnacion instead of taking him out after 6 & 3 runs.

He ended up pitching 6.1 innings, 4 earned runs, 6 hits, 0 walks, 6 strikeouts. 92 pitches.

Felix Cepeda got out of the inning without further trouble. I think it's his 2nd game since being promoted. Greenville down 4-2.

Andrés Núñez has been pretty good for Worcester since being picked up from the Royals for free.

He pitched the final 2.1 innings today without allowing a baserunner & striking out 1.

Since joining the team he has pitched 7 games, 9.2 innings & allowed 1 run on 5 hits, 2 walks & 6 strikeouts - 0.93 ERA.

Pretty sure this is going to be my last day posting in this manner, but hope at least a few people have enjoyed the live blog style.
I don't know the actual number of people who have enjoyed the live blog style (duh), but I've loved it and truly have appreciated the immense level of effort you have put into all of your minor league (and other) posts. Thank you very much for all of them. Even if you never post again you've surpassed anything I could ever contribute in a lifetime of posting.

Thank you for the kind words!

I think starting tomorrow it will be more just preview/summary on my end, but we shall see what happens.
