It was reviewed. And then deemed not to close enough that they had to call down to the field to have ref look.

That is insane to me.
This video clip is at best inconclusive and I can find a second or two at the very end that make a compelling case he never crossed the plane with control.
My guess is call on the field would stand but the fact it wasn't even looked at is ridiculous unless they have a different shot than what was showed in this clip that has several different angles.

That ball looks like it's sitting on the goal line to me? It doesn't need to cross the entire line, just literally make contact with it. That looks like a clear td.

I didn't see the play because you couldn't make me, but all scoring plays are reviewed. They took a look and decided it was a TD.
