1:15 p.m.: AAA - Worcester (Criswell - lies) @ Syracuse

5:15 p.m.: AA - Portland (TBD) @ Reading - Game 1

After: AA - Portland (TBD) @ Reading - Game 2

7:05 p.m.: A - Salem (TBD) @ Delmarva

7:05 p.m.: A+ - Bowling Green @ Greenville (Early)

https://www.milb.com/scores/all/all/redsox

My best guesses:

Worcester - BVB. Last pitched last Saturday..

Portland - Dobbins & Helcris. Only 2 guys listed in the rotation to not pitch yet.

Greenville - Early. 2nd starter, & it says so. Last pitched last Saturday.

Salem - ERC. Game 2 starter. Last pitched last Saturday.

The 13th is my 11-year wedding anniversary, so don't plan on being around much.

Burned . . . Blacklisted
These little Portland twitter video promos for the pitchers are great.
Helcris gets flames where Penrods little intro had some much smoke you would think he was on tour with Redman and Method Man.

Hope Ronald Rosario is OK. This is his 2nd straight night off & he's hitting over .400 & Lira is hitting under .100 iirc.

What the Helcris???

I'm going straight to Helcris.
Helcris on Earth is done for the day:

1.2 IP
1 ER
1 hit
5 bb's
1 hbp
1 wp
3 k's

57 pitches, 23 strikes (40.4%)

The Kwiat Assassin finished the 2nd & pitched a scoreless 3rd.

Sorry for the delay in results. Good Anniversary. Monkey Man is a weird movie.

Anyway, Kwiatkowski ended up picking 2.1 scoreless innings, 1 hit, 1 bb & 3 k's (spoiler alert: he got the win).

Christopher Troye had a wild inning which included 2 WP, 2 bb, 1 run & 1 k.

Theo Denlinger pitched the last 2 innings of the 7 inning game, 0 runs, 1 hit, 2 strikeouts.

Portland won game one 9-2.

Not to steal you thunder, Anthony’s homer in the second game was a first pitch lead off job, to left field.

It looks like the catcher set up middle-middle, the pitcher delivered, and the Roman delivered.

Lol I don't need thunder. Always happy when people want to post about stuff & one less thing for me to have to grab on my phone.

Hunter Dobbins got the start in game 2 & struggled.

In 4 innings he allowed 5 walks, a wp, & 3 hits, & struck out only 1. But he made it out only allowing 2 runs, 1 earned.

Jacob Webb came in & pitched 2.1 innings, allowing 2 unearned runs on 3 hits & 2 walks, striking out 2.

In the 7th inning, Webb allowed b2b singles to start the inning, then got a strikeout

Felix Cepeda came in to try to get the last 2 outs & the save up 1 run. He struck out the 1st hitter, but then the next reached on an error to load the bases. Cepeda induced a fly ball to ROMAN to end the game.

Portland won 5-4. Despite 3 errors, 3 unearned runs, walking 7 hitters, & striking out 10 times, all in 7 inning.

Might as well get the bad news out of the way next so we can end on a high note.

Despite manager Iggy Suarez's shoes...

Greenville still lost 10-5.

Connelly Early started things off strong...

5 IP
1 ER
3 hits
1 bb
7 k's

76 pitches, 49 strikes (64.5%)

Thinks got rough after that, though. Zach Fogell allowed 3 runs in 1.2 IP, but 2 of them scored after he left with 2 outs in the 7th.

Conor Steinbaugh was the bigger problem...

2.1 IP
6 ER
8 hits
0 bb
3 HR
2 k's

Gonzalez was 2-4 with those 2 homers & 4 RBI.

Drew Ehrhard also got into the action in the 1st game they let him play this year.

He was 1-3 with that homer.

That was about the extent of the offense.

Ahbram Liendo was 1-4 with a steal (4).

Enderso Lira was 1-3 with a walk (avg up to .077).

Juan Chacon was also 1-3 with a walk.

Allan Castro was 0-3 with a walk & a steal (avg down to .059).

After a slow start, Jhostynxon has been raking. 3-5 with a double & a steal (6).

Looks like is pulling ahead of Bleis in the race for promotion. Bleis was 0-3 with 2 walks & 2 steals (4), & picked up his 3rd cs of the year.

Yute is another OF who could earn a promotion to Greenville this season. He was 2-4 with a hbp.

Andy Lugo was 2-3 with a walk & a steal (4). It's been nice to see him healthy this year.

Juan Montero was 1-3 with a double & a walk.
