What the duck, Truck?
Yeah I rushed through those first three to get past the Kes-Neelix relationship. Jessica Lien is fine, but I've no idea how they didn't get that that relationship was fucking creepy. It's like Dan Schneider was secretly a producer.
That's Voyager, lots of just baffling decisions throughout. Like the S2 finale which features the great Suder story and skims almost entirely over Tom Paris saving the day to devote tons of time to some dumb as fuck "barbarians on a planet" drivel.

They do know that there is now a draft lottery. Being the worst team in the majors doesn't guarantee the number one pick. They only seem to care about the draft and the farm these days.
The 10th worst team from 2023, Cleveland, won the lottery and gets the top overall pick. The team with the worst record, Oakland, picks 4th. Kansas City, with the second-worst record, picks 6th. The Red Sox with the 11th-worst record will pick 12th.

I was busy giving my kid dinner and I see the team was kind enough to spare me 2 hours of agony in the first. Thanks guys!

I fucking hate draft lotteries.

I will reiterate my suggestion. Assign draft position by the absolute value of the difference between team record and .500.

It's not that hard to be around .500. It eliminates the benefit of tanking. We'd have more parity. More Cinderella stories in the playoffs. More volatility among playoff teams. It will chase cheapskate owners out of the game. It might make the luxury tax irrelevant.

Snakebit. Are you allowed to get two outs on the same play? What is that called?

That's why they almost canceled it until they brought in Jeri Ryan in an all but painted on body suit.
In a lot ways its such a wast of Kate Mulgrew.

Ooh, I like this proposal.

I'd love to hear more about this!
He married a girl from Falmouth after the 67 season. I was one of dozens of kids running around the grounds at St. Barnabas Church that day to get a look. His wife and my sister had been cheerleaders together in high school, so my parents knew the family.
One day, offseason, my mother says we're going out. He had signed a ball for me and we were going to pick it up. When we got there, he was in the backyard and we tossed it back and forth a few times, shook my hand and signed the ball.
I was 10. Still have the ball.

With Devers and Story hurt, and Hamilton, Dalbec, Reyes, Rafaella, etc. this lineup looks a LOT like a Woo Sox lineup from last year. I mean, it's REALLY similar.
That's not a good thing.

They were actually capable of hitting in Worcester.

Different day same s**t. Why is this team so terrible , especially at home?
Right now, they're starting three players each night who are borderline major leaguers: Hamilton, Reyes and Valdez last night, and Hamilton, Reyes and Dalbec tonight.
