It feels like either of these teams at this point in the year would pretty easily handle any other team in the country. They just ran into the one that isn’t like that. I guess that is what the final is supposed to be, but it seems to work out that way relatively infrequently.

Also, Connecticut has been doing ok when I post banal shit during the games at least once so I needed to get that out of the way.

I frankly think Alabama and UNC would have handled Purdue

Johnson’s got to be able to give them a few good minutes so Clingan doesn’t get gassed. Even a few decent minutes.

They definitely seem so much greater than the sum of their parts so no disagreement from me there. But he’s extremely annoying face to an outsider.
It’s funny, after all those years hating Duke for their annoying players (Laetner, Hurley, Wojo, etc), I see how UConn is becoming that team especially with addition of Spencer this season

So far. Let’s see how the second half goes. Most teams that hang with UConn for a half get buried in the second. But Purdue is the best team UConn has played this year so we’ll see.
Feels like Edey is a good run-stopping player. It is hard to put big runs together because he ensures they will at least have decent possessions.
