Why can't people wrap their heads around the idea that there was basically a 0% chance this team goes 42-0 at home? Most likely they'll end up something like 38-4. This loss is OK and they can build off it

Am I crazy or was that not a bad look? I mean the actual shot wasn’t close at all but it seemed like a decent look

Maybe there's a reason he doesn't call TOs. Those were worse plays than most of the non-TO end game plays. Good grief.

Glad for the home loss, do not need even the thought of chasing history for faux regular season glory crossing anyone’s mind.

Off balance fadeaway 2
Ugly
He should have driven into the defender's body. Guy was draped all over him. That fadeaway had no chance. I don't know what Tatum's end game numbers are but he takes some really crappy shots.

And why does it have to go through him all the time at the end? They've got five guys who can score.

This thread is laughable. One of the worst of the year.

Tatum and Brown went a combined 15/43 and 2-18 from deep and it took a Herculean effort from Jokic and Murray to win by 2.

Glad the home record thing is off the table. Its a silly distraction. They lost a one possession game to the defending champs. If they play better they can beat them. Maybe they won't but they have time to work on it.

Murray & Jokic had as great a combined performance as you'd think is possible on the road, and the Jays had a C- game or so. Lost by 2.

I don't think there should be much worry.

6-4 in the last 10.

Losses to every good team they have played. Things are not trending well.
They beat Minnesota a week ago? And the losses are by 2, 4, 2 aside from the give up game against the Bucks.

A whole lot of mid season nothing to see here.

If the Jays don’t play better than whatever this was, they won’t be getting to the finals. Fortunately, that is highly unlikely to happen.

Also, it is noteworthy how hard Denver played them tonight. The Nuggets don't come out with this effort every night in January - they got up for this.

On the flip side, Denver got virtually nothing from Gordon and KCP offensively.

More often than not this team struggles down the stretch against good teams in close games. Brown's poor handles / small hands, and Tatum's lack of elite explosiveness make it tough to get easy shots when they aren't shooting well.

Good news is that generally aren't in close games when they are shooting well, and their exceptional defense keeps them close in games where they aren't shooting well.
