Current State of the O Line

Yeah but Scarnecchia isn’t walking through that door anytime soon. The development of young OL the last few years has been underwhelming at best.

    Evaluating the Front Office

I’d give them an incomplete thus far. They’re betting big on Maye (understandably) and for the D to remain top 10ish (or better) without Bill and Steve. Keeping Jennings, Onwenu, Dugger and extending Barmore were good moves. Not a fan of their complete lack of upgrades anywhere in veteran free...

R7/231 Jaheim Bell TE Florida State- Doesn't this guy get a thread?

Never really used a FB other than lining up a TE as a FB in heavy short yardage packages which has become the norm in the NFL these days.

The OL looks really bad currently with the potential to be merely below average. If the new coaches can develop some of the young guys, or a scheme change can help them be better, maybe there’s a glimmer of hope. Im very concerned about D.Andrews who looked shaky and has had some injury/health...

Barmore stays a Patriot: 4 years/up to $92 million extension

Coaching will be perhaps the biggest driver barring Maye being a rookie sensation. The offense will likely be bad, so the defensive coaching is going to need to steal a few wins in 10-6 or 17-10 type games.

Barmore stays a Patriot: 4 years/up to $92 million extension

Other than QB, where they went from horrific to below average (assuming Brissett is the starter), I don’t know that the veteran FA moves were a net upgrade so any improvement is going to come from better health, young veteran guys developing (offset by old veterans declining though) and whatever...

    R3/68 Caedan Wallace OT PSU

One would assume they will invest in the LT spot more next offseason than they did this year but they’ll likely have plenty of other needs as well.

    Post-draft unofficial depth chart

Injuries will probably sort a lot of this stuff out but I have to think Boutte and Thornton are probably practice squad guys if the others are healthy.

Barmore stays a Patriot: 4 years/up to $92 million extension

He also drafted QB, TE, T, G and C who all ended up getting top 5 or better money at their position.

Barmore stays a Patriot: 4 years/up to $92 million extension

a little optimistic that either of those guys will be around in 8 years. if they can keep them together at a high level for the next 4 years through the end of Gonzalez’s rookie deal + 5th year option, it’s a win. hopefully in 4 years we’re all talking about extending Maye to a mega contract...

    Post-draft unofficial depth chart

Are Bourne and Strange going to be ready for opening day? Could be candidates for PUP CB and interior DL are really thin and not much promising depth.

    R1/3: Drake Maye QB UNC

weird stance considering Belichick spent plenty of draft capital and free agent dollars building an offense around a presumptive young QB If we’re taking into account pre-draft moves to “build a support system” with the knowledge that a rookie QB is likely en route (i.e. BB targeted a QB in...

Harmon yes McCourty definitely not. Vollmer maybe a slight reach but not really a WTF. Mankins was a semi-WTF
