    Thank You, David Ortiz

You are correct. He is that type of person that would buy rounds for everyone in the bar. Hanley's Players Tribune article definitely showed that. It is the end of an era. Stats be damned, he is the greatest Red Sox player of the last four decades. He was the face of the franchise.

    Thank You, David Ortiz

He is the last of the amazing team from 2004. My goodness, I cannot believe that this run is over. Thank you Big Papi for the near 500 homers as a Red Sox. Thank you for 2004, 2007 and 2013. Those were some of my favorite moments. I ran my first marathon in 2013 in Chicago and got really sick...

David Ortiz will retire at end of 2016 season.

To be honest, I am still in a great deal of shock right now. I was at the game tonight and watching him go to the mound after the game was heartbreaking. I had tears from the moment they walked him in the 8th thru the end of the game. I am 37 and been a diehard since 86. Between Pedro, Manny and...

    NFC Championship: Cardinals vs. Panthers

Yeah, -7 feels right to open. My guess the spread goes to greater than that though.

The refs are going to screw us!

I was shocked at how evenly the game was called. Muscles Hochuly loves hearing his voice and in a crazy turn of events, it was even! I tried to complain, but even in a drunken state, I rally couldn't.

    Thank you Patriots

The biggest issue is the loss of a first round pick. The depth on the o-line that they could get at that pick is a huge impact long term.

I still don't know why they weren't pressing the receivers all day. Manning had one big pass to sanders on a 50/50 play.nthe rest were misses by manning. I would have been pressing more on the receivers and blitzing more too.

This I agree with 100%. I had no idea how good Malik Jackson was. He was a beast tonight. Chandler jones is great but he isn't in the same league as the top guys. He is a step below and that clearly showed today. The linebackers looked great today and the D-Line felt mediocre. I guess we will...

    NFC Championship: Cardinals vs. Panthers

Agreed. Honestly, Brady who I love, celebrates with the best of them. So does Cam. I really love Cam and what he does. If he had anyone else to help him out the Panthers would be rolling moreso than they are. Stats be damned in this case, Cam is great for the NFL and is the MVP this year.

    Thank you Patriots

Agreed. There was a stretch in this game where Manning and the Broncos had -1 yards in four series. The Pats defense played great. To be honest, it came down to the Broncos making a few defensive plays. The offense didn't do much, and manning even less....

    NFC Championship: Cardinals vs. Panthers

OK so me taking Carolina with the third pick in a playoff survivor league is looking pretty good right now. That's the only positive I am getting from tonight. I was totally ok losing 200 bucks if the pats won....

Isn't it more of an issue of who is rushing the passer? Miller and Ware are significantLy above 95% of who other teams rush. Not sure solder and vollmer would have done a ton more. As much as it hurts, Miller played out of his mind and whether Cannon was there or not, I am not sure many others...

Pats FA Watch: LGBT Back on a 1-year Deal

I agree here. I do wonder if one RB is enough. Given that we won't draft till ~60 then depth moreso than talent may be the way to go. Give Lewis and one or two other strong performers may be the way to go via to draft. Then get a WR in free agency.

The difference with Dion Lewis and not having him was huge. That said, I agree, this team was as healthy as possible. They couldn't capitalize when they had a chance and that cost them. I blame the fourth down decision as much as anything, but I wouldn't call it the biggest issue. They had a...

Pats FA Watch: LGBT Back on a 1-year Deal

Yeah after this weekend, I am definitely feeling the wrath of Douche Roger Godell 1st is going to be felt less on an impact position more on the trenches. The pats have always done well in that area and losing the 29th pick is brutal, even with a young team. They need the depth and that is the...
