Last night and tonight, his lead-off ABs took the pitcher one pitch.
I understand. He hit a screaming liner at 108 mph. It was a quick out but far from an easy out

On the one hand, I don't have a problem with the Sox hunting fastballs early. Strider doesn't seem like a guy you want to try to take two against. On the other hand, 8 pitch innings hurt. On the third hand, I'd be peeing my pants if I stood in the box against him (or Wakefield for that matter), so what do I know.
