I like Tapia and am glad he made the team. I wonder if he will get chances against actual pitchers.
I had the sound off, so maybe it was dealt with, but I was under the impression that position players couldn't pitch anymore.
I believe the rule is it’s allowed if it’s a 10 or more run lead in the ninth
The Tigers have that traditional, old school uniform with the "D" on it and they have a nice ballpark, the "home plate" cutout at the bottom of the diamond, the old school "path" from home plate to the pitchers mound, very nice.

12 noon is for the NBC games eventually. I think I saw the Red Sox have one in August.
Having a guy like him for this kind of duty is just fine. It's the high lev usage that is confusing and frustrating.
