And the horn blows. The grounds crew literally couldn't keep up with the rain on 7 green.

Done for the day.

Tomorrow gonna be interesting. Its a 4 shot lead but Koepka has 12 ft or so for par tomorrow while Rahm is 9 ft for birdie.
So CBS got what, 15 minutes of live coverage?

What happens if/when this goes to Monday?

Only Sunday badges allowed in?

Uhhhh that means we won’t see the leaders til holes 4-6 on the app and when it comes on air at 3pm they’ll be on like hole 7.
CBS teasing us with some “never before seen” coverage of the leaders starting their third rounds. They even had Jim Nantz call some action just to have it in the can. I’m such a mark for The Masters that I’m probably going to watch the whole thing.

It’s pretty impressive how hard they make it to watch live action for a marquee event. Can’t think of another sport where that happens.

It was/is free and live on masters.com

and since no home teams, no blackouts in golf!

it will not go til Monday. Play will probably resume tomorrow around 8-9am then they’ll threesomes on split tees again. 12 holes or so left to play today is about 3 hours of play.
Doing threesomes means everyone can tee off in about 100 minutes.

I bet round 3 concludes between 11:30 and 12:30 and the leaders tee off around 2pm.

To be fair, if you have multiple screens you can watch approximately 5 million golf shots starting at around 8:45am every day.

There is a featured group stream, a holes 4,5,6 stream, Amen Corner stream, and holes 15, and 16 stream. And then the TV coverage.

If you are prepared, you can see a lot. But for TV alone, yes, it's pathetic.

No laying up has masters post round shows up on YouTube and on their podcast channel. To gout they had Scott Van Pelt and Wright Thompson on for about ten minutes and it was all about Tiger. It’s a must listen.

The Shotgun Start podcast also has been doing daily recaps. They tend to diverge into the funny/absurdist side of pro golf - and I love that. But they really know their stuff too.

A few days ago, they started taking about the popularity of the Masters garden gnomes - and then how a gnome in your front yard is a signal that you are a swinger. And then other signals of swinging (pineapple in your grocery cart, garage door slightly open). “I wonder if Phil got one of those gnomes.” I was dying.

Koepka in trouble on 10. Rahm has a hot putter to start. Kids picked up their eggs. Cousins will keep them busy in the afternoon. God is a golfer.

Nevermind. Koepka with an all world par on 10. Chipped out into the fairway and hit an 8 iron to 12 feet or so. Made the putt.

Hovland approaching on 14. Announcer, "We haven't seen anyone close to this hole location today."

What do you know, Hovland puts it close.

Could get fun if Rahm and Brooks back up a bit here. 17 and 18 are the toughest holes on the course right now.

I got decent odds last week on Hovland in the top 5. Chickened out and didn’t put any money on him winning. I’m still pulling for him though.

I feel like the sun is at times peaking through the clouds and it just makes the Augusta look so amazing compared to when it's overcast.
