Every time they kick it to Gene Steretore I get irrationally angry. Like this dude actually gets paid to not say shit?

The officiating in this game is beyond awful. Both those flagrants were overcalled, and then they ignore a push on the half-court violation and call a touch foul the other way.

Terrible job and inconsistent.

They are really over inserting themselves in this over the last 10 minutes or so.

That's a block, guy never stopped moving his upper body.

I'm not at all a UNC fan, but this is embarassingly awful and unbalanced officiating in the second half.

I’m astounded there hasn’t been a single foul on Baylor on all the inbound presses they have had over the last 15 minutes.

Right? And about four touch fols the other way.

Another blown call, fortunately one they can now review on the out of bounds play

That was an NBA-level continuation call on that foul. Clearly wrapped him up before he started a shooting motion.
They didn't call the foul on that initail contact, even though the guy was trying to foul. They were too slow on that call and only called the one when the guy was shooting.

So, bad officiating helps UNC there as I agree---had they called the initial foul it wasn't continuation
