The Nets inflicted a lot of collateral damage to others in that dealSo he wants spare parts and low firsts with the prayer that some picks later in the decade turn out to be OKish?
the Cavs get the honor of overpaying Jarrett Allen in RFA

There's an alternate universe where the Knicks made a godfather offer for the Demon Kyzuzu and Danny drafted SGA in the '18 draft. And last year, rather than missing 28 games with a fourth degree hippocampus strain, he helped the Celtics win their 18th title as he combined with the JayCrew and Marcus to form the best perimeter defense in the NBA.I'd take him over the latter 2, not sure about Mitchell. Probably, because of the height advantage. He's a guy I never thought of adding to the Jays, but he really is close to a perfect fit. I'd take him over Simmons too, obv.
Well the report was that the Spurs were interested in Kuzma as part of a DeRozan sign & trade. DD is about as mediocre as it gets in terms of stars, and the Spurs are in desperate need of Fs. Sadly Kuzma would represent a major upgrade to the 4 spot (which should tell you how dire things are in San Antone). When people say they have "interest in Kyle Kuzma" they mean like in order to dump even worse contracts like Buddy Hield's?
Lakers throw in a 2nd?Well the report was that the Spurs were interested in Kuzma as part of a DeRozan sign & trade. Live bodies bigger than 6'5". They're like a team from the 1950s.But yeah, I guess the Spurs are desperate for live bodies.
That explains the loud guffaws I was hearing as I walked by their corporate offices.
Or Morey is thinking that the Warriors need to move those kindergarten slots as much as the 76ers need to move Simmons. Frankly, I could see a deal that looks exactly like the one mentioned above but less one of the picks or with some form of draft capital for another year. If Golden State makes those picks for themselves, their big three may have some things to say in the coming days.76ers are thinking it's 2018 or something.

My team is on the floor
If so, Beal may be on the move too...
Wow, I gotta say, I think Buddy Heild is a much better fit to help the Lakers than Westbrook.Kuzma, Harrell, KCP and a 1st for Westbrook.
Why are the Lakers tanking?

That team would totally slay in NBA 2K15. Not so much in the current version.Kuzma, Harrell, KCP and a 1st for Westbrook.
Why are the Lakers tanking?
I have this feeling that Brad is going to put his stamp on the franchise tonight and say goodbye to Jaylen. If so, Beal may be on the move too...
Feels like a good deal for the Nets. Lots of interesting talent down there
I'll take that bet. What odds?I have this feeling that Brad is going to put his stamp on the franchise tonight and say goodbye to Jaylen.
Of course Washington needs to say this, but about building around Beal, per Woj tweet.I have this feeling that Brad is going to put his stamp on the franchise tonight and say goodbye to Jaylen.
I love that fit actually, Westbrook can run the offense all game and LBJ and AD can save more energy for crunch time. They had Schroder in that role last year and I think Westbrook will do it way way better.Wow, I gotta say, I think Buddy Heild is a much better fit to help the Lakers than Westbrook.
The Lakers will be what Westbrook, James, Davis, Tucker, Caruso whatever they trade Schroeder for, a MLE guy and a bunch of minimum contract players?
Agreed, health concerns of course a huge factor, but this is potentially terrifying.I love that fit actually, Westbrook can run the offense all game and LBJ and AD can save more energy for crunch time. They had Schroder in that role last year and I think Westbrook will do it way way better.
Petty frequently for a guy with an untradeable contract. How many times is Russell Westbrook going to be dealt?
Ironic since it wasn't that long ago when he was deemed untradeable. How many times is Russell Westbrook going to be dealt?
I'd be happy to hear the end of the Jaylen for Beal talk.
I’d be shocked if Beal wants to still stick around.I'd be happy to hear the end of the Jaylen for Beal talk.
Now we can all comment on any moves BOS makes and whether it makes it easy enough for them to make a sign and trade next year for Beal when he declines his option!I'd be happy to hear the end of the Jaylen for Beal talk.
And definitely not with Davis gone.I’d be shocked if Beal wants to still stick around.
Teams will be lining up to pay him 65 mil for the next 4 years. And definitely not with Davis gone.

They're getting rid of ball-hog RWB and bringing in a new coach, KCP, who's apparently a good friend of his, and some other solid vets. Seems like there's something to build on there, no?I’d be shocked if Beal wants to still stick around.
It's really an ugly fit. Beyond the pace, can you build a great offense in 2021 when none of your top 3 guys are + outside shooters? Plus every year that goes by seems tricky for Westbrook, who still derives a ton of his value from his athleticism. It's an intriguing possibility just to see these three guys on the same team, but it feels at least 2-3 years too late.I just....Westbrook playing at full speed, all the time, years and years, incapable of slowing down and playing focused...
Now teamed with lebron who plays at a snails pace like 99% of the time...i just cant wait to see it

I don’t know of many ball hogs who have led the league in Assists during the last 3 full NBA seasons. They're getting rid of ball-hog RWB and bringing in a new coach, KCP, who's apparently a good friend of his, and some other solid vets. Seems like there's something to build on there, no?
