Mostert is a really good running back; San Francisco should give him the ball more often. It feels like he runs for 8+ yards each time he gets it.

I know he hurts today, but god knows why that team favors Breida over Mostert.

When announcers get verbal diarrhea: "You can't have everything work perfectly and be an effective QB" So sayeth Chris Spielman.

Take a breath Chris, you can make the point you want and not get it exactly backwards.

If Bill Belichick could have one of Taysom Hill or Patrick Ricard, who does he pick?

Man the Ravens love to hold constantly and it’s never called. Outside of the pads and on the edge, no problem!

Right now? Ricard. Long term, Hill
Hill is 29, Ricard 25. Probably not what I'd do long-term. I don't see the need for a guy like Hill. Every time the Saints take Brees off the field for him, it's a win for the defense.

EDIT: Then again, "long term" in the NFL is like 3 years, so he might be okay if you value what he does.

This Ravens offense is amazing. Lamar has 62 yards passing and they have 17 points in the first half. It’s straight out of the 1980s Nebraska Cornhuskers except that when they need Lamar to throw he almost always hits his guy.

True, but it was a pretty weak roughing the passer call.
It was weak, but you can't hit a QB low in todays NFL.

You also can't hit a QB high in todays NFL.

You can hit him in a designated 2 inch square area, but just make sure when you tackle him, you gently place him on the ground, because if you don't, that's a penalty too.

Wow, no TD for the Ravens, I'm shocked.

This really accentuates Jackson's value. The new rules protect one of the best runners in football. You can't touch him but he can take off at anytime. But yea, another dumb penalty.
That’s a good point. He is effectively a running back but you can’t hit him like he’s one.

The Ravens defense looks to me like one you can beat. Pats had moments even on a 'bad' day, and Niners moving it here. It's not terrible, but you can move it on them.

I don't know what you do to stop Jackson and the offense. But I do imagine BB has spent some time thinking about that already. 7 DBs and 4 DLs or some other crazy thing?

Miami just successfully pulled off the play Indy famously tried to do against the Pats with just the center on the line.
