Can't see him making the 53 but worth a flyer. Probably will start on PUP.
Yeah. Likely won’t work out but give me this over the scrubs we have recently signed.Josh drafted him, and the receiving corps is Edelman and the 45 running backs. I’m down for kicking the tires.
Don't eat the cheese on this.Wow up to $6m
As soon as I saw this signing I felt “meh” but logged on here right away to see if you had any thoughts about him. Thanks for the insight. You never disappoint.here is the 02 on thomas
pro played in SB 48 with a sepated shoudler and was the only bronco along with CJ to keep trying in the 2nd haif
Can run a comeback screen with the best of them red zone target
con lost a lot of speed esp over the last 2 seasons does not run over the middlie look done in denver last season
unlees he shows something in rehab 60/40 he will be cut before the season
thanks for the comment he is not as bad as fegler makes him out to be denver kind of messed him around last seasonAs soon as I saw this signing I felt “meh” but logged on here right away to see if you had any thoughts about him. Thanks for the insight. You never disappoint.
Thomas had 677 receiving yards last year (in a year where he got traded halfway; he was on pace for 800+ in Denver). That was his worst total since 2011 (when he was also coming off an Achilles injury, in his second season, and catching passes from Tim Tebow). Hogan's best career total is 680 receiving yards (his first season in NE).If they had to sign a washed up receiver I would have preferred that they just brought Hogan back.
If he makes $6M we are all going to be super super happy.Wow up to $6m
It’s all about “Likely to Be Earned” (LTBE) incentives vs not-LTBE. The former are incentives that match or are less than last year’s actual production. So if his yardage was 677 and the incentive is 650 yards, it’s LTBE and counts this year. If the incentive is 700, it’s NLTBE and will count next year only if he achieves it.If he makes $6M we are all going to be super super happy.
My only question is how does this work for the cap, do they need to save all of that space for him or will this be pulled out of next years cap if he achieves? With Gronk gone they have plenty of space unless they want to bring someone higher paid via trade like AJ Green.
Vet minimum for a 9 year vet is $930k to put the 1.2m in perspective.
