With that win last night, the last-place Jets now have a better winning percentage than such teams as Denver, Houston, Cincy, Chargers, Redskins, Detroit, and the Cards. Football is weird this year, and the AFC East is a good conference (every team is at least .500 in their games outside of the division).

The Raiders, who went 12-4 and started this season 2-0, are in 14th place in the AFC.

The AFC East has by far the best record in football at 6 games over .500. Next best is the NFC South at 3 over, the NFC North at 2 over, then the NFC East at 1 over.

Football starts in five minutes if you'll show yourself to enjoy the awesomeness of the EPL. You'll actually get two of the best of the season taking you from 9:15 right up to NFL kickoff.

Football games today ranked from most interesting to least:

1. ATL-CAR, 1pm ET
2. KC-DAL, 4:25pm
3. BAL-TEN, 1pm - hate-watching Baltimore won't get any better
4. WSH-SEA, 4pm
5. Chelsea-Manchester United, 11:30am
6. CIN-JAX, 1pm
7. IND-HOU, 1pm - the injury bowl
8. Arsenal-Manchester City, 9:15am (City predictably up 1-0 already)
9. OAK-MIA, 8:30pm - dueling falls from ambition
10. DEN-PHI, 1pm - it won't even be good hate-watchin'
11. TB-NO, 1pm - give me a reason to care
12. LAR-NYG, 1pm - will tell us exactly nothing
13. ARI-SF, 4pm - not a lot of talk about Arians for Coach of the Year anymore

I think KC-Dal ranks #1 mainly because I am not a believer in Carolina being a legit contender. And Atlanta may not be either.

The Cowboys will beat the Chiefs today at home. KC gets back Hali but they are a pretty terrible defense. They are 28th against the run giving up 4.9 YPC and 131 YPG. Their passing defense is not much better. Everyone thinks the Patriots passing defense is historically bad. Well, the Chiefs have only allowed 275 less yards in the air than the Patriots which is good for 29th and only 2 less passing TDs(14 to Pats 16).

Lol, HOU-IND over DEN-PHI?

I'll take Wentz v. DEN D and the return of the Brockdragon over a Tom Savage checkdown party.
Would you still say this when the score is 40-3?

I watched Trevor Siemian turn the KC game into his personal NFL fantasy camp as he made game-management errors (clock, down-and-distance, etc), decision-making errors (a cover-your-eyes INT among others), and of course run-of-the-mill poor throws, for a good half a game. Down 16, the rest of his team was giving him a chance (you might give Tom Brady 50% odds of taking it to OT), and he just shat all over that chance.

If the 2017 Eagles were playing the 2014 Broncos, it'd be must-watch feature-game stuff. The broncos you have in mind no longer exist.

The Giants are an embarrassment. 1 minute into the game they have to call timeout to avoid a delay of game. Must not have known how to react to a first down in their first drive of the game. There we go, offside Giants 90 seconds into the game.

F'n horrid. And now a fumble recovery by the Rams.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm down on one knee protesting the suck that is the NY Giants.

Sam Koch, Ravens punter, just completed a pass on 4th down that immediately removes any doubt that the Ravens punter and kicker are relatively speaking, the two most talented players on the roster.

Rams had 3rd and 33. Giants playing prevent. Rams throw a little 5 yard screen and take it to the house.
