Again, the problem for the C's was that they had no real shot creators and had to just depend on jacking threes. This allowed Cleveland to get plenty of clean looks on run outs. The Warriors have been hitting from both inside in out and demand a lot more energy defending their multiple options. That also translates into the Cavs lower energy on offense.Wish Cleveland would have missed this many open shots against the Celtics.
Thompson and Iggy and Durant are a little tougher to shoot over than IT, Avery, Terry etc.Wish Cleveland would have missed this many open shots against the Celtics.
I'm including CST as being too late for a Sunday night start.Don't mean to keep polluting this thread...but more than half the population of the US is not in EST
Klay's defense has been great. Not a good night for the Thompson Twins
They got whatever they wanted in their half court offense too.Again, the problem for the C's was that they had no real shot creators and had to just depend on jacking threes. They have been doing that more during this small run. At a minimum, they need to be more patient because it also has the benefit of slowing the Warriors down too.I think LBJ and Kyrie just need to be, plain and simply, more selfish on offense. They have to look to create their own shots constantly, and if a shooter opens up, kick it out. If not, take it themselves. Especially Lebron. The Warriors defense is playing pretty well, but when Lebron wants it, they still can't stop him more than say 30% of the time.
Tristan has been getting owned by Zaza...The Cavs defense can't really do anything to slow down Golden State. The only thing keeping this game within reach is Dray and Klay missing a lot of easy shots.
And where the hell is Tristan Thompson? Feel like I haven't heard his name all night.
For as good as the first quarter was... The last 2 has seen a much more talented team take control.Would love to see the Cavs come back and make a game of this. I want 7 tight, drama filled games.
I'm greedy.
Everyone can lead the break and everyone can drill the open 3. Defenses basically just have to hope they miss.GS transition offense is porn
Lebron is right about Green initiating the hook, but just before that James was grabbing his wrist. You do that to me, I'm going to play a little dirty too. He had it coming. Great offensive move.Whine Lebron, whine
exactly.Lebron is right about Green initiating the hook, but just before that James was grabbing his wrist. You do that to me, I'm going to play a little dirty too. He had it coming. Great offensive move.
Then the series will be contingent on how long he can endure.LeBron is going to average more than 45 minutes per game this series.
How good does this feel for Mike Brown who wasn't given much to work with in Cleveland beyond LeBron and a bunch of spare parts?
WHAT?Is there a separate thread for NBA fans and not GS fanboys? Because between Ale's blind homerism and DeJesus' bannable comment (and hatred of the Cavs, I'm assuming)... Even SoSH game threads are better than this. Start a GS thread if you want.
DeJesus did the exact same thing as last year. He's an agitator. Is there a separate thread for NBA fans and not GS fanboys? Because between Ale's blind homerism and DeJesus' bannable comment (and hatred of the Cavs, I'm assuming)... Even SoSH game threads are better than this. Start a GS thread if you want.
Was it the part about the SoSH game threads being better than the SoSH game thread that confused you too?WHAT?
How can anyone not like the Warriors? I mean, it's as good of a team as the NBA has seen in decades. Appreciate what you're watching. Is there a separate thread for NBA fans and not GS fanboys? Did I stutter? Game Thread or not... Two people's posts drastically made the thread worse. I may be in the minority, and if that's true... Pile on. But I believe it to be true.WHAT?
Because Durant is soft like Carvel. How can anyone not like the Warriors? I mean, it's as good of a team as the NBA has seen in decades. Appreciate what you're watching.
He hasn't brought anything tonight. And now they need points. Is Tristan Thompson hurt? I realize he had a tough first half, but he's only played 22 minutes, and they could desperately use exactly what he brings to the floor.
Durant was a FA and chose what a lot of people would have done. I would have loved him on the Celtics but let's face it he made the right decision for himself.Because Durant is soft like Carvel.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.Because Durant is soft like Carvel.
He's been sloppy tonight. I don't think he's hurt.Is Tristan Thompson hurt? I realize he had a tough first half, but he's only played 22 minutes, and they could desperately use exactly what he brings to the floor.
I am loving the Warriors play. It's historic, fun and unbelievable all at the same time. I just wish that we could appreciate it for what it's worth and not moan and complain when a call goes against them or someone compliments the CavsHow can anyone not like the Warriors?
