You shut your fucking mouth about Przemek Karnowski, the most entertaining player in college basketball. I would guess about 75 percent of my CBB posts this year have been Karnowski related; he is basically my hero. The big white guy who I'm never going to have to watch again. What's his name?
Fouls were 22-22. FTAs were 26-26. Hard to argue it wasn't a wash. If anything, the Zags were hurt by the concentration of early fouls on two key guys, but as I said above, I thought those guys played badly, and probably made their own luck to some extent. The officiating was absolutely horrible, both ways, but more questionable fouls went against Carolina. It was too bad and affected the quality of the game, but not the end result

So you agree with me that it didn't affect the end result?Fouls were 22-22. FTAs were 26-26. Hard to argue it wasn't a wash. Agreed that the whole tournament was a letdownAfter last year's tournament, this one was a pretty big disappointment, overall.
I didn't say they did; but if you actually watched Gonzaga more than just tonight you would understand how good Karnowski really is.I love this post.
Refs didn't make him shoot 1-8 tonight.
Well, it seriously altered the flow of the game. Who can say whether it affected the result? So you agree with me that it didn't affect the end result?
The zags couldn't score all half, but the refs had them in the double bonus before the halfway point. The free throws kept them in itI would disagree with that pretty unequivocally, and even if it could be shown that more questionable calls went against Carolina, the ones that went against Gonzaga had a much, much bigger effect on their game. 3 of the 5 calls against Collins were brutal, and he's arguably one of their 2 most important players.
He played well against West Virginia but hasn't shown much since. I'm sure he looked great against WCC competition.I didn't say they did; but if you actually watched Gonzaga more than just tonight you would understand how good Karnowski really is.
AgreedI feel horrible for Few
Hope he wins one soon
Hope he doesn't leave for a bigger school
Hope he fully creates a likeable Durham of the PNW
I wonder why people don't like Carolina fans? Surely it's just jealousy.I'm confused: is Duke still the best team, or was that last year? Maybe it's next year?
Carolina fans have nothing on Duke fans. They're entirely tolerable, unlike the face and body paintersI wonder why people don't like Carolina fans? Surely it's just jealousy.
Gonzaga's defense wasn't great. Carolina missed tons of open shotsBrendan Haywood with a key stat
UNC only committed 4 turnovers
Yep. I'll rewatch tomorrow but the calls against Carolina were worse than the ones against the Zags. The shittiness went both ways. As for Collins, his fifth foul was his 7th and it wasn't really close. Those big men had never played against other big men and they couldn't handle it. They are great at posting up 6'7 dudes in the Mountain West but tonight was a very different group they were facing. The officiating was absolutely horrible, both ways, but more questionable fouls went against Carolina. It was too bad and affected the quality of the game, but not the end result
You are so biased it ain't even funny. It'll take me a couple of days before I can't watch that shitshow of a officiated game but to say UNC got shittier calls against them might be the dumbest thing you have literally ever postedYep. This Carolina team was so so so so special. To have Justin Jackson go 0-8 from 3 and miss half our free throws and still win against a good Gonzaga team? Unreal. They can win in so many ways. I'll have way more to say tomorrow but this is amazing. It sucks the refs disrupted the game but it helped the Zags catch their breath and stay in it.
That belongs to Meeks ALL Day. He shook their big center before the first t.v. timeout, it was clear that guy had never been in a game like this against someone like Meeks. And then Meeks with the defensive play of the game?? He should have been MOP.Joel Berry MOP?
Whaaaaaat?
They've got to be the favorite next season right? They only lose the Center and he's terrible (I'm sure he's great when he's playing Salisbury State but not against real teams). Their core is tremendous and I assume all staying.I feel horrible for Few

Jesus you are a shitty winner. They've got to be the favorite next season right? They only lose the Center and he's terrible (I'm sure he's great when he's playing Salisbury State but not against real teams). Their core is tremendous and I assume all staying.
My early bet is they pull a Carolina and win it next year. They will be better without that Center dude.
Exactly. The refs handed Zags the keys to stay in that game. They couldn't score against our defense and kept getting tick tacky free throws, slowing down the game to give them a chance to catch their breath. The zags couldn't score all half, but the refs had them in the double bonus before the halfway point. The free throws kept them in it
I think your team is going to win the National Championship next year. Not sure how that's shitty.Jesus you are a shitty winner.

Check your bias. If your team isn't in the double bonus before the halfway point of the second half, this game might not come down to the end.You are so biased it ain't even funny. I love what you post normally but this one wasn't one of those posts
Goss is projected to be a second rounder. He will stay. I don't know who Mchale is. Collins and Tillie are more highly regarded than Goss w/r/t NBA and I'm still betting they both stay. It's a DEEP draft.NBA draft
Kettle, pot. Pot, kettle.Jesus you are a shitty winner.
Salisbury state comment maybe???I think your team is going to win the National Championship next year. Not sure how that's shitty.
Dude, I know it's your first time here but this is what major college basketball is like. It's full of heartbreak. It's not a cakewalk. It hurts because the competition is fierce. You guys will be the favorites to win it next year.
