Big match at the bottom today between Palace and Borough and Palace already denied a penalty (which they probably would have missed anyway).
Mamadou Sakho in the XI.

I think the ref got it right. It was a bouncing ball and did hit Dave's arm, which was right in front of him. Very incidental. I've seen such calls given; whether you think it was a penalty likely depends on your rooting interest.I only saw in passing and now ESPN tells me Chelsea have scored should that have been handball on Azpilicueta in the box?
Congrats, jk. I had a feeling Palace would win today. You definitely do not want to come down to the Championship. It's a dogfight.Home win, clean sheet. I need to buy a lottery ticket today.
Sakho was really good today with a few vital touches to prevent goals.
Got some help from the rest of the bottom dwellers to get out of the red zone.
Great day by Palace.
Thank you! They looked really good today, albeit against Boro. I'm not a long-time fan enough to have it really hurt, but Palace fans have started to worry a lot about Palace going down while Brighton gets promoted. My wife saw the look on my face after the last loss, and when it became clear I'd be looking for shit to do on Saturday mornings (since we get so few Championship games here) I think she started to panic too!Congrats, jk

For me it wasn't an England thing, I'm just shocked by his play not slowing down at all with his age. He's playing plenty of minutes as well. Would be so enjoyable to watch, if it wasn't for United.Anyone want to question if Zlatan can cut in England now?
Or if Van Dijk had been healthy just a tad sooner. They sorely missed him, you don't see many CBs whose abilities jump out of the screen at you like his do. I'd bet money he disrupts that final goal, and a lot more besides.United were lucky today, Southampton outplayed them for much of the game. Would be interesting to see how different it would've been if that first goal hadn't been wrongly ruled out.
