How is that not reviewable?
If Bobby Wagner clipped his toenails this morning, he clears the center there. I don't think you want that call to be reviewable, any more than you want coaches throwing the challenge flag for uncalled offensive holding.

Seahawks living a very fortunate officiating life last couple weeks.

Still a great play by Wagner

I think the refs decided that Wagner's incidental contact with the snapper didn't benefit his block.

That's the only reason I can come up with for picking up the flag.

The flag was for illegal formation, not for Wagner contacting the center.

I thought the rule used to require intentionally gaining leverage and was changed to any contact at all. Is that not the case?

This is why the NFL is losing viewership. Official replays to delay or reduce momentum and excitement and when a challenge flag that impacts field position or change of possession, it's not allowed.

Let's just go to 4 timeouts for the game. Maybe teams will learn how to snap the fucking ball

This is my favorite game of the year because it makes me feel better against the jesters poor showing against these two squads. This is some solid defense more than bad offense

Fucking trading for Joe Thomas already. I don't care what it costs. Sick of these tackles being fucking sieves.
I think Joe Thomas would do more for Seahawks than, say, Jimmy Graham.

Can they fit him under cap? Believe they are pretty tight aren't they?

Almost $6 million of space per OTC. But that's not enough and they don't really have a way to clear enough unless they dump Hauschka.

That's what I thought I read somewhere a few weeks ago.

If Seahawks get a penalty in this scrum that would be Rex Ryan-coached dumb

Well, this looks like it's going to make up for the non-call on the blocked FG.

Edit: Maybe not. They flagged Arizona too.

Nfl clock rules are dumb. Let defenders just hold the guy down for 12 seconds after the whistle.

That's such an odd rule. A defensive penalty after the play is over doesn't cause an extra play? What's stopping a NE player from just, like, sitting on a guy to run out the clock

Should've been intentional grounding, which would've ended the half (due to the 10-second runoff). Not sure what happened after that, but I hate to see conduct fouls called in a critical spot if they aren't egregious.

Huh? It was a fumble, recovered by the offense. Then Seattle piled up 6 guys and stayed on the o-lineman so they couldn't get lined up.

Edit if it had been grounding there would have been about 14 seconds before the runoff.

It looked like a shovel pass to me, but I wasn't watching as closely as I might have been, so I could be wrong.

Seattle...just not impressed.

Dumb penalties on defense and offense looks blah right now.
