Congratulations Denver Broncos. Their defense was amazing. Manning has killed us so many times that I am a bit sick to my stomach right now but he is a true champion and one of the greatest of all time.

Yeah have to imagine it feels better down the road when looking at his career as a whole. I'm sure winning is great, but for a guy that competitive who was so good for so long has to be painful to be what he is now.
...and so Peyton, with his second SB ring, Papa John franchises, Nationwide Insurance agencies and probable Budweiser distributorships (after telling the CBS chick that he plans on drinking a lot of Budwesier tonight), went on to live happily ever after.
I don't really think Peyton is the greatest of all time, but it'll be a narrative now that he owns so many passing records and multiple rings.

5 years from now he won't give a shit when he's getting $10M a year from NBC or FOX and deservedly basking in his marvelous career.
Upon some further reflection it is fitting for Manning to have a team finally carry him after many of those Indy teams where he carried mediocre teams to Division Titles.
It's going to be back now for sure. Two rings, more playoff wins head to head against Brady, (for now) better regular season stats. You'll hear it in different circles and the reality is the two players are both all time greats and pretty close in value
