I think he was looking for pass interferenceIn his defense, Arians seemed to throw up his arms and WTF as the pass went out.
Not really.God Belichick did the same thing a few hours ago and got bailed out by a lucky bounce.

less time on clock for KC thoughGod Belichick did the same thing a few hours ago and got bailed out by a lucky bounce.
Chiefs had more timeouts---big difference as Pats couldn't get the clock to same place.God Belichick did the same thing a few hours ago and got bailed out by a lucky bounce.
I'm with you on this. Calling a pass is ballsy. Calling that pass...geez, Palmer should have seen that it wasn't there and just turtled it.I don't hate passing there but that was a very low percentage play. Just dumb. You take a safe throw and catch there if you think you have it. Not a 50/50 lob down the sideline e
Your mistake is understandable give the team colors and clock management strategy.I completely see the argument for not punting - you're down 4, you need a TD, and who cares if KC gets the ball at the 20 - either you stop them in 4 plays and at worst are down 7, or the game's over - which it would be anyway if you punted and gave up one first down.
The play calls were a bit eh, that throw on 3rd down unless the penalty is called isn't a first down anyway
